ITI and Diploma qualified candidates can apply for eligible technical posts including Police Constable Communications, Constable Mechanics, Constable Drivers, SI Communications and SI Police Transport Organisation (PTO).

Post-Wise Vacancy Details
1. SCT Sub Inspector of Police (Communications) – 50 Posts
Educational Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or prescribed equivalent qualification. B.Sc. Electronics candidates may also be eligible as per the notification.
Age Limit: 21–27 Years.
2. SCT Sub Inspector of Police (Police Transport Organisation – PTO) – 10 Posts
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, or prescribed equivalent qualification.
Age Limit: 21–27 Years.
Gender: Men only.
3. Police Constable (Communications) – 200 Posts
Educational Qualification: SSC + ITI in any of the prescribed trades including Electronic Mechanic, IT & Electronic System Maintenance, COPA, Mechanic Consumer Electronics or Electrician. Candidates with prescribed Intermediate/Vocational qualifications may also be eligible.
Age Limit: 18–24 Years.
4. SCT Police Constable (Mechanics) – 15 Posts
Educational Qualification: SSC + ITI in Wireman, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV), Mechanic Diesel or Fitter.
Age Limit: 18–24 Years.
5. SCT Police Constable (Drivers) – 198 Posts
Educational Qualification: Intermediate OR SSC + ITI in Auto Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV), Mechanic Diesel or Fitter, along with a valid LMV Driving Licence held continuously for at least 2 years as prescribed in the notification.
Age Limit: 18–27 Years.

Age Limit
The age limit varies according to the post:
SI Communications & SI PTO: 21 to 27 Years.
PC Communications & PC Mechanics: 18 to 24 Years.
PC Drivers: 18 to 27 Years.
Age will be calculated as prescribed in the respective recruitment notification. Age relaxation for eligible reserved categories will be applicable as per government/SLPRB AP rules.

For Police Constable Communications, Mechanics and Drivers:
