Note: Out of 310 seats, 16 seats are horizontally reserved for PWD candidates.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years as on 31.10.2026.
- General Candidates: Maximum 25 Years.
- OBC Candidates: Maximum 28 Years.
- SC/ST Candidates: Maximum 30 Years.
- PWD candidates will get an additional 10 years age relaxation.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess an ITI Pass Certificate / NCVT Certificate in the respective trade.
Who Can Apply?
As per the official notification, candidates residing in all districts of Telangana State only are eligible to apply. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in any Government, PSU or Private Organization are not eligible.
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on ITI marks merit.
- 70% of seats will be engaged with Government ITI students.
- 30% of seats will be engaged with Private ITI students.
- Eligible candidates will be called for original document verification.
Apprenticeship Period
The apprenticeship training will be for One Year and is scheduled to commence from 02 November 2026.
How to Apply for ECIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026?
Step 1: Candidates must first register themselves on the Apprenticeship India portal of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Step 2: After registration, eligible candidates must submit the online application through the ECIL website → Human Resources → Current Job Openings.
Important: Registration on the Apprenticeship India portal alone is not sufficient. Candidates must also submit the application through the ECIL website. Applications submitted through the ECIL website will only be considered.

Important Note for Candidates
ECIL has clearly warned candidates against individuals promising apprenticeship selection in exchange for illegal gratification. The selection exercise will be conducted on the basis of merit and in a transparent manner.
