इस भर्ती में ITI, Diploma और Degree qualification वाले eligible candidates आवेदन कर सकते हैं। ITI candidates को Apprenticeship India Portal तथा Diploma/Graduate candidates को NATS Portal पर registration और application करना होगा। Application की अंतिम तारीख 20 October 2026 है।
Important: Portal पर application करने के बाद eligible candidates को निर्धारित schedule के अनुसार Walk-in Selection के लिए Bhilai Steel Plant में उपस्थित होना होगा।

Educational Qualification
ITI Trade Apprentices: Candidates must have passed ITI in the respective trade from a Government recognised Institute.
Diploma/Graduate Apprentices: Candidates must have Diploma/Degree in the respective discipline from a Government recognised Institute/University.
Only candidates who completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifying examination must have been passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Candidates whose qualifying examination result is not declared/available by the last date of application are not eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under any establishment are not eligible.
- Candidates having one year of job experience are not eligible as per the notification.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 28 Years
Age will be calculated as on 31 October 2026.
Applicable age relaxation will be provided as per the Government of Chhattisgarh guidelines.
Apprentice Stipend

Stipend will be payable as per the prescribed rates of MSDE, Government of India. For Graduate/Diploma Apprentices, the notification mentions 50% stipend contribution by BSP and 50% from BOPT under DBT mode.

How to Apply – ITI Candidates
ITI candidates must first register on the Apprenticeship India/NAPS Portal. After registration, login to the candidate account and go to Apprenticeship Opportunity. Search the establishment name as SAIL BHILAI STEEL PLANT and apply for the relevant trade against the available vacancy.
How to Apply – Diploma/Graduate Candidates
Diploma and Graduate candidates must first register as a student on the NATS Portal. After registration, login and go to Establishments Requests → Find Establishments. Search and select Steel Authority of India Limited, Bhilai Steel Plant and apply for the relevant passed-out branch.

Selection Process
Selection will be carried out through academic merit and walk-in process. Shortlisting will be based on marks secured in the qualifying examinations with the following weightage:

There is no written examination mentioned in the notification. Candidates must attend the walk-in process as per their allotted trade/branch schedule.
