A total of 1450 Apprentice vacancies have been announced for ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., B.Com and 12th Pass candidates under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended).Eligible candidates can submit their online application from 14 July 2026 to 12 August 2026 by completing registration on the NAPS/NATS portal and submitting the mandatory Microsoft Form.

Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the required qualification on or before 31 July 2026.
- Regular Full-Time course only.
- Minimum 50% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates.
- 45% marks for SC/PwBD candidates (where applicable).
- ITI qualification should be recognized by NCVET/SCVT.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
- Distance, Correspondence and Part-Time courses are not accepted.
Age Limit (As on 31 July 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Age Relaxation

- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years (additional relaxation as per rules)
Who is Not Eligible?
The following candidates are not eligible:
- BE/B.Tech
- MBA
- MCA
- CA
- LLB
- Any higher professional qualification
- Candidates pursuing higher qualification
- Candidates having more than 1 year job experience after Diploma/Vocational qualification
- Candidates who completed the prescribed qualification more than 5 years ago
- Candidates applying in more than one trade/discipline
- Candidates whose previous apprenticeship was terminated due to their own misconduct/failure
Selection Process
- There will be No Written Examination.
- Selection will be based on:
- Merit prepared from aggregate marks in the prescribed qualification.
- Preference to first-time Apprenticeship candidates.
- In case of tie:
- Older candidate (Date of Birth)
- Higher Class 10 marks
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification followed by Medical Examination.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and IOCL guidelines.
Training Period
- Most Trades: 12 Months
- Secretarial Assistant: 15 Months
Leave and Other Benefits
- Apprentices will be entitled to:
- General Leave: 32 Days
- Casual Leave: 12 Days (Pro-rata)
- Holidays as applicable to the establishment
- Unused leave will lapse after completion of apprenticeship.

- No Company Accommodation
- No HRA

- Step 2
- After successfully applying through NAPS/NATS, candidates must submit the Microsoft Form available on the IOCL website.
- Both Step-I and Step-II are mandatory. Applications without completion of both steps will be rejected.

Selected candidates must qualify the pre-engagement medical examination as per IOCL and Apprenticeship Rules.
