RCF Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the educational qualification, age limit and other eligibility conditions prescribed for their respective discipline/trade.
- Minimum age: 18 Years
- Maximum age: 25 Years as per the notification’s cut-off date.
- Minimum qualifying marks are generally 50%, depending on the discipline/trade.
- The qualifying examination must have been passed on or after 01 July 2023.
- Qualification should be regular full-time as prescribed in the notification.
- Candidates who have already completed Act Apprenticeship, have one year or more work experience, or are pursuing higher studies are not eligible as per the notification.
- A candidate can apply for only ONE discipline/trade.
RCF Apprentice Stipend 2026-27
Graduate Apprentice: ₹17,300 per month
Diploma/Technician Apprentice: ₹15,900 per month
Attendant Operator / Instrument Mechanic / Laboratory Assistant: ₹17,300 per month
Boiler Attendant / Electrician / Horticulture Assistant / MLT: ₹14,600 per month
Selection Process
The selection will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared from qualifying examination marks. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and further apprenticeship formalities as prescribed by RCF Ltd. There is no written examination mentioned for this apprenticeship engagement.

Step 1: Trade Apprentice candidates must register on the NAPS portal at Apprenticeship India. Graduate and Technician Apprentice candidates must register as students on the NATS portal.
Step 2: Visit the official RCF website and open the Recruitment section.
Step 3: Select “ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES – 2026-27”.
Step 4: Read the complete notification carefully and click on “I Accept” followed by “Apply Online”.
Step 5: Select the preferred posting area, Trombay or Thal, and complete the application form.
Step 6: Upload the required documents/photo/signature in the prescribed format and submit the application.
Step 7: After successful submission, generate and print the application form for future reference and Document Verification.
