North Western Railway (NWR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Jaipur has released the detailed notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27. A total of 2008 Apprentice training slots are available across various divisions and units of North Western Railway.
Eligible ITI candidates can submit their applications online through the official RRC Jaipur website. The online application process will start from 07 October 2026 and the last date to apply is 06 November 2026 up to 11:59 PM.

ITI Trades Available
The notification includes training opportunities in various relevant ITI trades. Depending on the selected division/unit, candidates may find slots for trades such as:
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Diesel Mechanic
- Welder
- Carpenter
- Painter
- Mason
- Pipe Fitter
- Electronics Mechanic
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
- Turner / Machinist
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Black Smith / Pway / Engineering related trades
- Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance
Important: Trade-wise vacancies are different for each division/unit. Candidates should carefully check the available slot for their ITI trade before selecting a unit.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 10th or equivalent under the 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board. Candidates must also possess the relevant National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT/SCVT in the notified trade.
Age Limit
The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 06 November 2026.
- SC/ST candidates: Upper age relaxation of 5 years
- OBC candidates: Upper age relaxation of 3 years
- PwBD candidates: Upper age relaxation of 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per notification rules

The application fee is non-refundable and is to be paid online through the payment gateway integrated with the application process.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list. The merit will be prepared using the simple average of marks obtained in:
- Matriculation/Class 10th marks
- ITI marks in the relevant trade
For matriculation percentage, marks obtained in all subjects will be considered. In case of candidates having equal marks, the older candidate will be preferred. The merit list will be prepared division/unit wise, trade wise and community wise.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Training Period & Stipend
The training period and stipend will be provided as per the prevailing rules and directives issued by the Railway Board. The notification does not specify a fixed stipend amount in the recruitment notice.
Important: No hostel accommodation will be provided. Selected candidates will have to make their own arrangements during the training period.
