Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released a fresh notification for the engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at various locations under its Marketing Division, Western Region.
A total of 335 Apprentice opportunities are available across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Eligible ITI, Diploma, 12th and Graduate candidates can apply online through the respective NAPS/NATS portal.

Available Apprentice Trades & Disciplines
Technician Apprentice: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics.
Trade Apprentice: Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist.
Graduate Apprentice: BA, B.Com, B.Sc and BBA.
Data Entry Operator: Data Entry Operator (Fresher) and Data Entry Operator for Skill Certificate Holders.
Educational Qualification
Technician Apprentice: 3-year regular full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with minimum 50% marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions.
Trade Apprentice: Matriculation along with a regular full-time 2-year ITI course in the relevant trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time graduation in BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA with minimum 50% marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions.
Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th, but below graduation, with the prescribed percentage of marks.
Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Class 12th, but below graduation, along with a valid Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator as specified in the notification.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 30 September 2026.
Age relaxation is applicable as per the prescribed rules for SC/ST, OBC-NCL and PwBD candidates.
Qualification Passing Date
- Graduate & Technician Apprentices: Qualification acquired between 01 April 2023 and 30 September 2026.
- Trade Apprentices / ITI / Data Entry Operator: Qualification acquired between 01 April 2022 and 30 September 2026.
Part-time, correspondence or distance-learning qualifications are not eligible for the notified disciplines.
Apprenticeship Duration & Stipend
The apprenticeship training period will be 12 months.
The stipend will be payable as prescribed under the applicable Apprentices Act and Apprentices Rules, as amended from time to time. The notification does not specify a fixed stipend amount.
Selection Process
There will be no written examination or interview for this apprenticeship engagement.
- Registration on the respective NAPS/NATS portal.
- Application against the IOCL Western Region apprenticeship opportunity.
- Preparation of merit list based on marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying examination.
- Document Verification.
- Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Examination.
- Offer of Apprenticeship Engagement to eligible shortlisted candidates.

- Login using your registered User ID/Email ID.
- Search for the IOCL Western Region apprenticeship opportunity using the relevant Establishment ID.
- Select the eligible discipline/trade.
- Submit the application before the last date.
- Take a print/screenshot of the submitted application for future reference.
Important: Candidates can apply for ANY ONE DISCIPLINE CODE ONLY. Applying for more than one discipline code will result in rejection of the applications.
