Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
✅ High School/10th Pass
✅ ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade from recognized institute
✅ Candidates passed in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 are eligible to apply.
General/OBC/EWS candidates must have minimum 60% marks in ITI and SC/ST candidates must have minimum 55% marks in ITI
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age for General Category: 27 Years
OBC (NCL): 30 Years
SC/ST: 32 Years
PwBD candidates will get additional age relaxation as per rules.
Selection Process
✅ Merit Based Selection

Selection will be based on:
70% weightage of ITI marks
30% weightage of High School marks
Final merit list will be prepared on weighted average marks basis.
Stipend
Selected candidates will receive monthly stipend as per Apprenticeship Rules and Government norms during the training period.

Important Notes
Uttarakhand candidates will be given preference in selection.
Candidates who completed ITI as private candidates are not eligible.
Candidates whose ITI result is declared after 2023 are eligible.
Selected candidates will have to arrange their own accommodation and food during training.
Apprenticeship training does not guarantee permanent employment in BHEL.
