The apprenticeship training period will be 1 year. Eligible candidates from Maharashtra State ITI can participate in the recruitment camp scheduled on 20 August 2026 and 21 August 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a domicile of Maharashtra State.
- Candidate must have passed ITI from Maharashtra State.
- Candidate must have passed the required examination in the relevant ITI trade.
- The candidate’s age should not be less than 14 years as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- The maximum age limit will be applicable as per the Government decision/guidelines mentioned in the notification.
- Candidate must be physically fit as required for the apprenticeship training.
- Selected candidates will have to submit the required police character verification certificate.
Apprenticeship India Registration
Eligible candidates must register/login on the Apprenticeship India portal and select MCGM under Apprenticeship Opportunities.
The Apprenticeship India registration number is required while filling the recruitment camp application form.
Selection Process
The selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of the maximum marks obtained in the final ITI examination, along with applicable social and parallel reservation rules.
- Only candidates who have passed ITI from Maharashtra State are eligible as per the notification.
- Candidate must select MCGM as the establishment under Apprenticeship Opportunities on the Apprenticeship India portal.
- Merit will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the final stage of the ITI examination.
- Applicable social and parallel reservation rules will be followed.
- If two or more candidates obtain equal marks, preference will be given according to age seniority, i.e. the older candidate will get preference.

Important Instructions
- Candidates must appear personally at the recruitment camp.
- Applications submitted at any other office/place or through any other mode will not be considered.
- All required information in the application form must be filled correctly and completely.
- Educational and other required certificates should be attached with self-attested copies.
- Candidates should confirm that they fulfil the eligibility requirements of the concerned trade before applying.
- Selected candidates may be posted for apprenticeship training at any office/workplace under BMC jurisdiction.
- Depending on the requirement, selected apprentices may have to work/train in three shifts.
- BMC will not provide accommodation during the apprenticeship training period.
Stipend / Apprenticeship Training
The notification mentions stipend/vidhyavetan as per the applicable Government guidelines. The trade-wise tables mention stipend amounts of ₹17,680/- and ₹19,890/- for the respective trades.
The apprenticeship training period is 1 year.
Important Note About Permanent Job
This recruitment is for Apprenticeship Training and is not a permanent BMC job. Completion of apprenticeship training does not make the candidate automatically eligible or entitled to permanent employment in BMC.
Selected candidates will enter into a Model Contract of Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
