CSL PM Internship 2026 – Educational Qualification
For ITI Trades: Candidates must have passed 10th standard and ITI (National Trade Certificate – NTC) in the relevant trade.
For SSLC Category: Candidates must have passed 10th standard.
For HSE/ITI: Candidates must have passed 12th standard or ITI (National Trade Certificate – NTC).
For Diploma: Candidates must possess a relevant Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council/Board of Technical Education, University, or an institution recognized by the State/Central Government as equivalent.
For Graduation: Graduation other than Performing Arts/B.Tech, such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA etc.
For Post Graduation: MA Hindi / MA Hindi with Translation.
CSL PM Internship 2026 – Age Limit
The age of the candidate should be 18 to 25 years.
CSL PM Internship 2026 – Ineligibility Criteria
- Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs and IISc are not eligible.
- Candidates having qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA or equivalent, MPhil and PhD are not eligible.
- Candidates undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship or training programme under Central or State Government schemes are not eligible.
- Candidates who have completed apprenticeship/training under NATS or NAPS at any point are not eligible.
- If the income of any family member exceeds ₹12 lakh in the preceding financial year as on the date of application, the candidate is not eligible.
- If any family member is a permanent/regular Government employee, the candidate is not eligible.
CSL PM Internship 2026 – Stipend
Eligible interns under ITI, SSLC and HSE/ITI categories will receive ₹11,000 per month, including Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by the Government of India.
Eligible Diploma, Graduation and Post Graduation interns will receive ₹13,000 per month, including Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by the Government of India.
CSL PM Internship 2026 – Training Duration
The duration of the internship training will be 9 months under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme.
CSL PM Internship 2026 – Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade/discipline.
In case two or more candidates have the same percentage of marks, relative merit will be decided on the basis of seniority in age.
Shortlisted candidates will receive the Internship Training offer through the PMIS Portal. Candidates will then have to appear for certificate verification with the required original and self-attested certificates.
After successful certificate verification, candidates will be provisionally inducted for internship training subject to medical fitness.
