NFC ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India has released an advertisement for engagement of ITI Trade Apprentices for the year 2026-27. Eligible ITI passed candidates can apply through the NAPS portal for one year Apprenticeship Training at Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad.

The NFC ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification has been issued under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 432 tentative vacancies are available in various ITI trades.

NFC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

Candidates should have passed 10th/SSC and ITI in the respective trade as prescribed in the notification.

ITI candidates must also be registered on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal and application has to be submitted through the NAPS portal only.

Age Limit

The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years as on the closing date of application.

  • General: Maximum 25 Years
  • OBC: Maximum 28 Years
  • SC/ST: Maximum 30 Years

Training Period

The selected candidates will undergo one year of Apprenticeship Training under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Stipend

The stipend is ₹11,040/- per month for Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist, Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)/Chemical Plant Operator, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), Motor Mechanics (Vehicle), Draughtsman (Mechanical) and COPA.

The stipend is ₹10,560/- per month for Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Plumber, Welder and Stenographer (English).

NFC Apprentice Selection Process

After submitting the application through the NAPS portal, candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Interview. Selected candidates will be informed through e-mail.

The date of commencement of training will also be intimated to selected candidates through e-mail.

How to Apply for NFC ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026

  1. Visit the NAPS portal and complete candidate registration.
  2. Login to the NAPS portal using the registered e-mail ID and password.
  3. Go to Apprenticeship Opportunities.
  4. Under Search by Establishment Name, search for Nuclear Fuel Complex-E11153600013.
  5. The trades operated by Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad will be displayed.
  6. Select your eligible trade and click on the Apply button.
  7. Upload the required documents/certificates and complete the application process.
  8. Take a printout/hard copy of the online application form for document verification.

Important Eligibility Conditions

  • Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any Government, PSU or Private Organization are not eligible.
  • Candidates having post-graduation are not eligible to apply.
  • Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from an Assistant Civil Surgeon/Civil Surgeon at the time of joining.
  • Selected candidates will be required to report at NFC, Hyderabad.
  • Accommodation may be provided by the establishment subject to availability of quarters.
  • Reservation will be applicable as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time.
  • Candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) reservation must mention their category while registering on the NAPS portal.
  • Selected candidates must undergo a Trade Test after completion of training. On passing the Trade Test, the National Apprenticeship Certificate will be awarded through the Apprenticeship portal.

Important Note

The vacancies mentioned in the notification are tentative and may increase or decrease depending on office exigencies.

Apprenticeship training does not confer any right to employment in Nuclear Fuel Complex. There is no provision for appointment of Apprenticeship Trainees in NFC after completion of training and candidates cannot claim the same.
